Physicist Receives Million-Pound Prize for Predicting a 'Hypercosmic God'by Jeffrey P. Tomkins, Ph.D. *
Evidence for Creation › Evidence for God › Cause and Effect › Everything Has a Cause
On March 16, 2009, the Templeton Foundation announced the winner of its annual 1 million pound sterling (1.42 million USD) prize, an amount that exceeds the payoff of the prestigious Nobel Prize.1 Bernard d’Espagnat, a French physicist at the University of Paris-Sud, will receive the award from the Duke of Edinburgh at Buckingham Palace at an elaborate ceremony in May. Dr. d’Espagnat was awarded the prize for his work using theoretical physics to predict the reality of a hypercosmic god, who exists outside of the physical universe.
The Templeton Prize was started in 1972 by Sir John Templeton, an American-born entrepreneur and businessman. Templeton’s goal was to provide monetary resources for research and discovery in science and philosophy, with a focus towards university faculty. Candidates for this award have typically performed research involving a strong metaphysical or spiritual side that very few researchers are willing to tackle.
Dr. D’Espagnat received the recognition specifically for his work in “concept reality,” an off-shoot from his decades of work in quantum mechanics. The goal of quantum mechanics is to provide a complete description/model of the physical world. However, if something exists beyond scientifically predictable phenomena, then there must be some other reality underlying the natural world, another dimension that is not based on time, distance, or physical constraints.
Additionally, events in one dimension are able to simultaneously affect events in the other dimension and distance is not an issue, even though the second dimension is non-local. D’Espagnat’s current hypothesis is that some unknowable divine entity operates in this underlying realm/dimension. In other words, theoretical physics now predicts the reality of a hypercosmic god.
In this model, there is no way to know this divine being or connect with him in a meaningful way. D’Espagnat’s notion of the impersonal/unknowable aspect of this god is not actually predicted by the model, but simply represents his own opinion on the matter.
It is interesting that one of the hottest fields in theoretical physics points towards a Divine Being or God and also predicts God’s divine attributes of omnipotence, immortality, omniscience, and omnipresence. What is even more exciting is that all of these findings line up with the description of God in the Holy Bible, except for one thing—He is knowable and we can connect with Him in a meaningful way through the forgiveness of sin available through His Son Jesus Christ.2
Although it is exciting that modern scientific research clearly points towards God, it does not take millions of dollars in government grants coupled with years of laborious research to prove His existence and know what He is like. His Divine attributes are clearly outlined in the Bible.

The antichrist has been revealed!
How to identify an antichrist is clear from the epistles (letters) of John (1 John 2:18, 1 John 2:22). An Antichrist will deny that Jesus is the Christ, in other words they will reject Jesus as the only way to God. Jesus is the only begotten of the Father. He is as the Father is the one true GOD. He came into the world that they created (Genesis 1:1, 26-28, John 1:1-3) to redeem us from our sin cursed existence and destiny. This redemption is available through an active relationship with Him. The word translated ‘Christ’ means Messiah (Savior), Jesus is the Christ, the savior sent into the world to save all those who believe in Him (John 3:16, Romans 6:23, Romans 10:9-10).
An antichrist is any who oppose Christ, for some this opposition is demonstrated through the process of unseating Christ in the minds and hearts of their followers. If your pastor has more control over your home life, over your spiritual decisions and your money than Jesus Christ has; then he or she may be operating in the spirit of antichrist (2 Thessalonians 2:3, 1 Timothy 4:1-3). The Apostle Paul recognized his leadership in the lives of those he helped in the faith of Christ Jesus; but he reminded them to only follow him as he followed Christ. I have always admonished those who attended fellowships where I preached to abandon me if I abandon Christ. I believe that part of God’s judgment on a person who abandon Him to follow other people, is to allow the lust of that man or woman to be His scourge on them.
Here is the mantra of our day, you are gods. People like Billy Graham, Oprah, Pope Francis, Joel Osteen, Benny Hinn, Joseph Prince and T.D. Jakes just to name a few, have been preaching that Jesus is not the only way to God. Some of them even proclaim to be god themselves and that you are also a god, this is the antichrist’s spirit operating in them. In fact, the spirit of antichrist may be closer to you than you have ever imagined. It could even be in you.
Have you ever questioned or asked your pastor who is the antichrist? What was the answer you received? I challenge you to go to the Bible, as it is the book that presented the concept of the antichrist. I pray that each of you would closely and prayerfully examine what the scriptures have to say on the subject of the antichrist.
I do not want to be mean-spirited, that is not my goal, but if God has directed me to warn His people from a danger; I have to warn them (Titus 1:9). I have set back long enough while the world took over our churches and replaced Christ with another Jesus, a culturally acceptable one, not the Jesus of the Bible. The only name that is not welcome in the world today is the name that is above all names, the name of Jesus Christ. You can pray in your own name, in the name of Buddha, Allah, Mary Queen of heaven, and even in the secret names of the ancient mystery religions but you must not pray in the name of Jesus Christ (the Messiah sent from God the Father). This is the spirit of antichrist operating in our world to oppose Jesus Christ (1 John 4:1-3).
By denying that Jesus is God born into this world to save man from sin, those in the following video pronounce with their own words this antichrist doctrine. I know some times they may use the phrase ‘Jesus saves’, but it is undone by the redefinition of Jesus. If they say Jesus is not the God but a god like you and me, then they are not talking about Jesus of the Bible but another Jesus. Jesus Christ is the only way to God. Why might they do this? Maybe it is because the love of money pulled them away or because they never loved God in the first place (2 John 1:7-10, 1Timothy 3:1-7).
Watch the following video with these scriptures in mind (Matthew 7:15, Matthew 1:22-23, Matthew 24:24).
These scriptures are my Biblical justification for presenting this information to you.
2 Corinthians 6:11-18
Heavenly Father, you are the only one that we assign this title to besides our earthly dad(s) you are our only Spiritual Father. I pray that you would knock again at the door of our hearts and that you would again invite us to come in out of the darkness of this present world back into Kingdom of your dear Son Jesus. I thank you that the creator of the ends of the earth cared enough to come and die in order that we might be made acceptable to you, Holy God.
This is my prayer, in Jesus name!
Do Christians and Muslims Worship the Same God?
http://www.albertmohler.com/2015/12/18/do-christians-and-muslims-worship-the-same-god/ via @albertmohler
This is a pointed and accurate analysis of a current trend to try to blend Christianity with Islam together. Father, I pray that you would reveal Jesus to our Islamic friends and neighbors. I pray that you would release them from the spiritual deception that have many of them seeking to kill themselves and others in the name of their religion and god. I also pray that you would give us believers faith enough to share with all men. In the name of your Son Jesus our messiah, I pray this.
Should believers obey the Pope or protest him?
http://www.exministries.com/pope-francis-calls-for-collaboration-with-worlds-religions-those-who-meet-god-in-different-ways/ Jesus is the only way to the Father not Catholicism, Hinduism, Islam, and not any other religion or spiritualism. Jesus declared, “I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me" John 14:6(KJV).
Modern Christianity has allowed the following false religions to be included into their fray (Catholicism and Mormonism) and the Pope is inviting other religions to join him in his endeavor to unite all faiths of the world together against God the Father and His Son Jesus the Christ. Father, I pray for the Spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of you; to reveal the truth to your followers and draw them out of the false god worshipping Catholic Church and away from the deception of the Pope back to the true faith in the Son of Righteousness (Jesus). I will have more to come on why we should stir clear of the Papacy and why I say it is a false God worshipping religion.
